Aims, scope and focus
La Austral Journal of Imaging (Revista Chilena de Radiología) es el órgano oficial de la Sociedad Chilena de Radiología. Es una publicación trimestral, open access (abierta sin coste para autores y lectores), de revisión por pares doble ciego, que se publica en versión electrónica en español e inglés. Cuenta con un Comité Editorial compuesto de expertos nacionales e internacionales. La revista publica artículos originales, artículos de revisión, casos clínicos, cartas al editor y editoriales sobre cualquier aspecto relacionado con la radiología y especialidades afines. Su misión es: - constituirse en un vehículo de comunicación permanente con la comunidad radiológica y especialidades afines. - ser un órgano de educación continua para la comunidad radiológica y especialidades afines. - ser un órgano de fomento y difusión científica y tecnológica en la especialidad de Radiología, entendiendo los conceptos de ciencia y tecnología en un sentido amplio, incluyendo los avances tecnológicos, la experiencia y la investigación clínica.
