«Архивъ внутренней медицины» - многопрофильный журнал, основной целью которого является объединение клинических специальностей в единое информационное пространство, формирование научных коммуникаций и интеграция в мировой научный процесс, трансляция передовых научных результатов в практическую медицину. Журнал ориентирован на предоставление научно-практической, информационно-аналитической и методической помощи в профессиональной деятельности специалистов, раскрытие новейших достижений медицинской науки. В современной медицинской науке имеется тенденция к повышению уровня специализации и дроблению клинической медицины на узкоспециализированные разделы. Одновременно с этим возрастает роль внутренней медицины в интеграции научных исследований. Возникает необходимость формирования комплексного междисциплинарного подхода в терапии, объединения врачей различных специальностей для повышения эффективности лечения пациентов. Журнал публикует оригинальные научные статьи, посвященные практическим и теоретическим вопросам внутренней медицины, проведенным клиническим, клинико-экспериментальным исследованиям, научные обзоры, отражающие результаты исследований в различных областях медицины и фармации, лекции, материалы с описанием клинических случаев, сведения биографического и историко-медицинского характера, а также вспомогательные материалы по всем актуальным проблемам внутренней медицины. На страницах журнала предоставляется место для дискуссий и кратких сообщений.
