Apertura es una publicación semestral de investigación y difusión científica especializada en innovación educativa en ambientes virtuales. Publica trabajos de investigación originales, inéditos y actuales en español, inglés y portugués, revisados por pares a doble ciego. La revista está dirigida a la comunidad científica del área de innovación educativa en ambientes virtuales, y a todo el público interesado en el tema. La finalidad de Apertura es promover la comunicación científica y el debate académico en el campo de la educación virtual, en línea, a distancia y en modalidades de educación no convencionales involucradas con la tecnología educativa; por lo que se encarga de difundir resultados de investigaciones sobre educación, narraciones de experiencias argumentativas en innovación educativa, así como artículos que propicien el debate sobre temas en el ámbito de la educación en ambientes virtuales de aprendizaje. Apertura es editada por la Universidad de Guadalajara, a través del Centro Universitario de Guadalajara, y es auspiciada por las direcciones Académica, Administrativa y Tecnológica de UDGVirtual, en conjunción con el Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (Conacyt) y la Coordinación de Investigación, Posgrado y Vinculación de la Universidad de Guadalajara. La línea editorial de Apertura es: Gestión del aprendizaje en ambientes virtualesGestión del conocimiento y la cultura en ambientes virtuales de aprendizajeGestión de sistemas educativos virtualesInnovación educativa a través del uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación Periodicidad Apertura es semestral. Publica dos números al año, en los meses de abril y octubre. La convocatoria para la recepción de artículos se mantiene abierta durante todo el año. Idioma Se reciben y publican artículos en inglés y portugués, además del español. Formatos Los artículos se encuentran disponibles en los formatos HTML, XML, PDF, ePub y Mp3.
