Aims, scope and focus
Annales Henri Lebesgue is published by École Normale Supérieure de Rennes. By OpenAlex counts of its recent articles, its largest topics are Stochastic processes and statistical mechanics, Mathematical Dynamics and Fractals and Geometric and Algebraic Topology, together about 30.9% of its articles. Its main subfields are Mathematical Physics. (generated from OpenAlex topic counts and CAS ranking data)
The Annales Henri Lebesgue publishes high-quality articles across all areas of mathematical research and their applications, either in French or in English. Given the journal’s unusually broad scope, special attention is paid to both the significance of the results and the clarity with which new ideas and methods are presented, ensuring they appeal to a wide readership. The editorial board is organized in three large mathematical areas, namely Algebra and Geometry, Analysis, and Probability and Statistics. This splitting is made to ease the submission process ; this should not be understood as a constraint: we warmly welcome articles at the crossroads of distinct areas. Once accepted and edited, articles are published online: they are freely accessible on the internet website of the journal. The process is free of charge for authors and readers. Every article is published with two short abstracts, one in the language of the article, the second in French, or in English. Articles are published in chronological order; they can also be sorted by topics or alphabetical order of the first author. As a generalist journal, the Annales Henri Lebesgue strive to diversify their published subjects. To avoid publishing articles by the same authors within a short period, unless the topics are entirely different, the Annales Henri Lebesgue kindly request their understanding and encourage them to submit their second article to another journal.
