AND – Architetture, città e architetti è una rivista scientifica di rilevanza internazionale che promuove la pratica, la ricerca e la teoria in tutti gli ambiti e macrosettori del design e dell’architettura (CUN – Area 08), oltre che in campi affini delle scienze dell’antichità, letterarie e storico-artistiche (CUN – Area 10) e delle scienze storiche, filosofiche e pedagogiche (CUN – Area 11). Fondata nel 2003, la rivista mira a stimolare il dibattito e l’arricchimento culturale su temi di attualità nel panorama scientifico italiano e internazionale. Ogni numero propone un confronto “attivo” tra due grandi temi (progetti, figure, tendenze culturali o metodologiche), sviluppando un dialogo interdisciplinare e critico. Ambiti e tipologie di contributo Documenti di ricerca – studi di ricerca primaria con metodi, dati e risultati originali. Progetti e proposte di architettura e design – contributi critici, speculativi e propositivi, esplorazioni teorico-pratiche non orientate al mercato che affrontano questioni contemporanee rilevanti. Prospettive e riflessioni teoriche – saggi filosofici, storici e culturali che offrono punti di vista autorevoli e multidisciplinari sulle questioni centrali del progetto. Temi e aree disciplinari Architettura, progettazione urbana, paesaggio e rappresentazione; Design del prodotto, design industriale e design tridimensionale; Design della comunicazione visiva, interaction design, design tessile e della moda; Design della luce, design dei servizi, design sociale e dei sistemi; Teoria, metodi e metodologie del progetto; Cultura, storia ed etica del progetto; Didattica, pedagogia e formazione in architettura e design. Politica editoriale La rivista pubblica articoli che apportano nuovi contributi alla conoscenza e alla pratica, sia attraverso ricerche primarie originali sia tramite reinterpretazioni e analisi critiche di opere, teorie o processi esistenti. I contributi si rivolgono a un pubblico ampio di ricercatori, docenti, professionisti e studenti avanzati. AND accoglie con favore: articoli originali di ricerca scientifica, accademica e applicata; contributi di studiosi affermati, giovani ricercatori e dottorandi; studi emergenti e in corso che introducano prospettive innovative; proposte di special issues o sezioni tematiche curate da guest editors, con coerenza tematica e metodologica.
