AMÉRICA LATINA HOY (ALH) es una revista de Ciencias Sociales fundada en 1991 especializada en estudios de área, publicada por el Instituto de Iberoamérica y Ediciones de la Universidad de Salamanca. Está dedicada al análisis de latinoamericana en sus aspectos políticos, sociales, históricos, culturales o económicos. Publicamos artículos originales e inéditos, priorizando los que son fruto de investigaciones innovadoras. ALH publica en continuo un volumen al año y recibe originales en español, portugués e inglés, pero las versiones finales de los artículos aceptados se publicarán en español, idioma en que se edita la revista. De manera excepcional y previa decisión del Consejo de Redacción se puede incluir una sección con notas de investigación. Los artículos no deben superar las 8.000 palabras, las notas de investigación las 6.000 palabras. En ambos casos, incluidos los resúmenes, bibliografía, tablas, figuras o cualquier otro soporte que acompañe al texto. En la sección de artículos se publican los trabajos presentados a la revista en el marco de la convocatoria general de presentación de manuscritos que ALH tiene permanentemente abierta. Esta sección puede complementar la sección monográfica o abarcar la totalidad de los artículos que se publiquen en la revista. La decisión final sobre la aceptación y publicación de los manuscritos enviados a la revista corresponde al Consejo de Redacción.
