Aims, scope and focus
Das elektronische Journal für Angewandte Geoinformatik (kurz „AGIT Journal“) ist eine interdisziplinäre Open-Access-Zeitschrift, deren Fokus auf der Darstellung und Diskussion hochwertiger wissenschaftlicher Forschungsergebnisse und angewandter Praxisbeiträge aus dem Themenspektrum der Geoinformatik liegt. Es beinhaltet u. a. Beiträge der AGIT-Symposien, die vom IFFB Geoinformatik – Z_GIS an der Universität Salzburg seit 1989 veranstaltet werden. Das AGIT Journal ist in der internationalen Zitationsdatenbank Scopus gelistet.
