ADVOCATUS (ISSN 0124-0102 - e-ISSN 2390-0202), creada en 1995, es una publicación científica de acceso abierto, revisada por pares y editada semestralmente por la Universidad Libre de Colombia. Tiene un carácter transdisciplinar en las Ciencias Políticas y Sociales con un enfoque en las diversas áreas del Derecho y su enseñanza (Clase 5E, UNESCO / OCDE). La Revista publica artículos de investigación, originales e inéditos, fomentando el análisis integral del fenómeno jurídico desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria, promoviendo la comprensión del derecho como un sistema dinámico en interacción con contextos sociales, políticos, económicos y culturales. La revista tiene recepción nacional e internacional y acoge manuscritos resultados de trabajos de investigación, en español e inglés, dirigidos a juristas, investigadores, académicos y profesionales interesados en el análisis crítico del derecho, las ciencias políticas y sociales en contextos locales, regionales e internacionales.
