ACTA SILVAE ET LIGNI je edina slovenska znanstvena revije, ki objavlja članke s področja gozda in gozdarstva, lesarstva, gozdnega prostora, narave ter okolja. Revija Acta Silvae et Ligni izhaja v tiskani in elektronski obliki. Namen revije je izmenjava najnovejših znanstvenih dognanj med znanstveniki in strokovnjaki iz regije in na širši mednarodni ravni, ki delujejo na področjih gozda in gozdarstva, lesarstva, gozdnega prostora, narave in okolja. Revija podpira razvoj strokovne in znanstvene terminologije v slovenskem jeziku. Recenzirani znanstveni in strokovni članki so lahko objavljeni v slovenskem jeziku z angleškim izvlečkom ali v angleškem ali enem od uradnih IUFRO jezikov (španski, nemški, francoski) s slovenskim izvlečkom.
