Aims, scope and focus
A revista Acta Scientiarum. Technology, ISSN 1807-8664 (online), é uma publicação científica eletrônica editada pela Editora da Universidade Estadual de Maringá, com acesso aberto e publicação de artigos em fluxo contínuo avaliados por pares. Foco e Escopo A revista publica artigos originais em todas as áreas relevantes da Tecnologia, incluindo: Ciências Exatas e da Terra (Matemática, Física, Estatística, Ciência da Computação e Química), Engenharias (Civil, Elétrica, Mecânica, Química e de Produção), Ciência e Tecnologia de Alimentos (Ciência, Tecnologia e Engenharia de Alimentos) e Multidisciplinar (Biotecnologia). Missão Viabilizar o registro público do conhecimento e sua preservação; Publicar resultados de pesquisas envolvendo ideias e novas propostas científicas; Disseminar a informação e o conhecimento gerados pela comunidade científica; Agilizar o processo de comunicação científica na área de Tecnologia. Processo de Avaliação pelos Pares Os artigos serão avaliados por três consultores da área de conhecimento da pesquisa, de instituições de ensino e/ou pesquisa nacionais e estrangeiras, de comprovada produção científica. Após as devidas correções e possíveis sugestões, o artigo será aceito para publicação se tiver dois pareceres favoráveis e será rejeitado quando dois pareceres forem desfavoráveis. No caso de um parecer favorável e de um desfavorável, a decisão sobre a publicação ou não do artigo será do Conselho Editorial. ` Diretrizes de Avaliação 1. O assunto tratado no artigo é relevante para ser veiculado pela revista? 2. O artigo é original? 3. O título reflete clara e suficientemente o conteúdo do artigo? 4. A apresentação, a organização e o tamanho do artigo são satisfatórios? 5. A introdução faz uma revisão sobre o tema abordado e deixa claro o objetivo do trabalho? 6. O item material e métodos está suficientemente claro, permitindo que o artigo possa ser reproduzido? 7. A discussão é pertinente e suficiente? 8. Os dados justificam as interpretações? 9. Há necessidade de acréscimo de algum item que possa enriquecer o artigo? 10. É necessário redução ou a retirada de alguma parte do artigo? 11.
