Misión La Revista Acta Colombiana de Psicología publica hallazgos originales de las investigaciones en Psicología, las ciencias sociales y el diálogo de estas con otras disciplinas, con el propósito de divulgarlas a la comunidad académica y a todas las personas interesadas en conocer sus nuevos avances y aplicaciones a distintos campos y necesidades de la sociedad contemporánea. Alcance Acta Colombiana de Psicología es la publicación científica seriada de acceso abierto de la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Católica de Colombia. Su enfoque y cobertura es tanto disciplinar como para áreas afines, y su periodicidad es continua y dedicada a problemas de particular relevancia para el conocimiento contemporáneo en psicología y las ciencias sociales. Como propósito principal, la revista pretende llegar a universidades, entidades privadas o del Estado, y centros de salud, de investigación, de educación y todas las personas interesadas nacional o internacionalmente para compartir experiencias académicas en psicología y ciencias sociales, identificar nuevos avances en el área y realizar sus aplicaciones a distintos campos y necesidades de la sociedad contemporánea. Sus artículos son seleccionados a partir de un riguroso proceso de arbitraje por parte de árbitros nacionales e internacionales. La Revista Acta Colombiana de Psicología se interesa preferentemente, aunque no de forma exclusiva, por publicar sobre las siguientes líneas: 1. Procesos psicobiológicos y del comportamiento 2. Psicología clínica, de la salud y adicciones 3. Psicología Organizacional 4. Psicología Educativa 5.Psicología Jurídica y Criminología 6. Psicología Social, Política y Comunitaria 7.
