About these figures
- Impact factor is the latest value LetPub lists. CAS zone is the major-category zone of the Chinese Academy of Sciences journal ranking, 2025 upgraded edition by default and switchable to the 2026 Xinrui edition; Top and review-journal flags are kept per edition.
- Review time is first the median from submission to acceptance of the journal's own articles from the last 24 months (Crossref / PubMed dates, at least 10 articles), then the publisher's stated submission-to-acceptance, final-decision or post-review decision time, then the community's average report. A publisher's "time to first decision" includes desk rejections and is used only when nothing else exists. Each source is labelled.
- APC is taken from DOAJ, OpenAlex, the publisher's website and LetPub, in that order; a hybrid journal's APC applies only to articles published open access.
- Articles per year is OpenAlex's count for the last complete year, or LetPub's annual article count when that is missing.
