Scandia: Journal of Medieval Norse Studies is a scholarly journal dedicated to the dissemination of research on Old Norse and Medieval Scandinavian studies, with particular emphasis on the Viking Age and the cultural traditions of the Nordic world. Published by NEVE – Nucleus of Viking and Scandinavian Studies, a research group registered at the Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico and affiliated with the Universidade Federal da Paraíba, the journal promotes interdisciplinary approaches within the humanities, especially in Norse mythology, religion, history, literature, and archaeology, fostering international academic dialogue on medieval Scandinavian societies.
