Nuova Rivista Storica (abbreviated NRS) is dedicated to publishing outstanding research across all fields of historical scholarship. It advances the in-depth study of historical structures and major transformations while fostering a critical dialogue between historical experience and contemporary issues. The journal’s core mission is to transcend fragmented antiquarianism and construct synthetic historical narratives that integrate political, economic, social, cultural, and intellectual dimensions. · Frontier Interdisciplinary Fields: Innovative, interdisciplinary research in areas such as environmental history, medical history, gender history, and material culture studies.
· Global and Comparative Perspectives: Research from cross-cultural and comparative viewpoints, focusing on long-term interactions, exchanges, and comparisons between different civilizations, empires, and regions. The journal steadfastly upholds academic freedom and methodological pluralism, providing a central platform for scholars globally to engage in open and profound dialogue on the major historical issues that have shaped our common human destiny.
