Getsempena English Education Journal (GEEJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the English Education Department of Universitas Bina Bangsa Getsempena. Dedicated to advancing scholarly discourse in the field of English Language Teaching (ELT), GEEJ implements a rigorous double-blind review process to ensure the integrity, relevance, and quality of the research it publishes. The journal places a strong emphasis on English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and English as a Second Language (ESL) contexts. GEEJ welcomes submissions from educators, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers aiming to disseminate innovative ideas, empirical research, and critical reflections that contribute to the enhancement of English language education across all educational levels. While rooted in the Indonesian educational landscape, the journal actively encourages comparative and international perspectives that offer global insights and promote cross-cultural dialogue in ELT practices. The journal invites original, high-quality manuscripts aligned with (but not limited to) the following thematic areas: Innovations in ELT Research on new pedagogical frameworks, instructional design models, teaching methodologies, the integration of literary texts, and the use of innovative practices to enhance language proficiency. Educational Technology in ELT Studies exploring the role, impact, and effectiveness of digital tools and online platforms in English language learning, including online, blended, and technologically enhanced learning environments. Teaching Strategies and Assessment Practices Analyses of instructional techniques, classroom practices, formative and summative assessment methods, and the implementation of authentic and performance-based assessment in language education. Challenges and Emerging Issues in ELT Critical investigations into contemporary challenges in ELT, including sociocultural influences, institutional dynamics, educational policy concerns, and learner-related factors affecting teaching and learning processes. 21st-Century Language Education Contributions addressing the integration of key 21st-century competencies—such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving—into English language instruction.
