The Ljubljana Law Review (LLR) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal that publishes scholarly articles spanning all areas of law. Published independently by the Faculty of Law, the journal has a rich history dating back to 1921, when it was first established under its Slovenian name, Zbornik znanstvenih razprav. Since 2022, the journal has also been published under its English name, Ljubljana Law Review. Over the decades, LLR has become a respected voice in the legal academic community, with its work indexed in leading databases. LLR publishes annually, supplemented by special thematic issues, and showcases rigorous, peer-reviewed articles that highlight significant academic contributions across diverse legal disciplines. Ownership Ljubljana Law Review is a non-profit, society-owned academic journal published by University of Ljubljana Press on behalf of its owner, the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law (Poljanski nasip 2, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia). The journal is managed by an independent academic editorial board appointed by the owner and is hosted on the University of Ljubljana’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) publishing platform (https://journals.uni-lj.si/). Support Ljubljana Law Review is supported by the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS) and the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law. Since 2025, Ljubljana Law Review has been published under the auspices of the University of Ljubljana Press.
