Water Reuse is a peer-reviewed Open Access journal with a focus on all aspects of the treatment of wastewater and other non-conventional water resources, to enable safe and sustainable water reuse. "Water Reuse is created by the water community, for the water community. We encourage high-quality submissions that address not only the science and engineering of water reuse and desalination, but also the impacts, sustainability and policy associated with its implementation. We welcome submissions from around the globe to represent the truly international scope of this field.” Professor Amy Childress (University of Southern California, US), Professor Stephen Gray (Victoria University, Australia) and Professor Hong-Ying Hu (Tsinghua University, China) - Editors-in-Chief The re-use of domestic and industrial wastewater, rainwater, mine water, brackish water, seawater, or other non-conventional water sources, is vital for improving water security and resilience. Using treatment technologies and processes, water from these non-conventional sources can be used in applications such as agriculture, industry, landscape, drinking, municipal use, and others. Water Reuse invites high-quality Research Articles, Review Articles, Short Communications and Perspectives focussed on these areas. The scope includes the following topics: Treatment technologies for reuse and non-conventional water resources, including the processing of non-conventional water resources, and biological, chemical, physical, natural treatments Water reuse and desalination technology and processes Disinfection and microbial risk control Storage and distribution of treated non-conventional water resources Water quality and risk assessment of non-conventional water sources for water reuse Regulation, policy and standards for water quality control and water resource management that feature non-conventional water sources Economic, environmental, and societal aspects of non-conventional water use For informal guidance on whether your intended submission falls within the scope of the journal, please contact us at editorial@iwap.co.uk.
