About this journal ObjectiveThe Turkish Journal of Biochemistry (TJB) is the official journal of the Turkish Biochemical Society. The aim of the journal is to promote the international research and publication culture. TJB publishes contributions in the field of medical sciences, including clinical biochemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology and molecular biology and genetics. TJB is published bi-monthly. All articles submitted for publication in TJB are subject to double-anonymized peer review by at least two experts in the field, selected and invited by the Editor-in-Chief and a dedicated editorial team. TJB publishes only English-language articles.TJB is an open access journal. To sustain the publication of all fully peer-reviewed manuscripts, each article accepted for publication in TJB is subject to an article processing charge (APC), paid by the authors' affiliated institutions, funders, sponsors or institutions that have an agreement with us.Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) is mandatory for submission.
