研究范围与定位
Balkan Medical Journal is a Q1 general medicine journal published by Trakya University, Edirne, Türkiye. Since its founding in 1979, the journal has been committed to advancing medical knowledge and practice across all areas of medicine. The journal publishes peer-reviewed research across medical disciplines, emphasizing adherence to the Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of scholarly work in medical journals. We welcome original articles, brief reports, invited review articles, consensus reports, clinical images, letters to the editor, scientific letters, editorial comments, and health policy articles. The journal does not accept case report type manuscripts. Balkan Medical Journal operates under a rigorous peer-review process, ensuring that all published work meets the highest standards of scientific quality and ethical conduct. Each submission undergoes evaluation by expert reviewers in the relevant field before an editorial decision is reached. As a diamond open access journal, Balkan Medical Journal charges no submission fees, no article processing charges (APCs), and no subscription fees. All published content is freely and immediately available to readers worldwide, reflecting our commitment to the principle that scientific knowledge should be accessible to everyone without financial barriers.
