Tidsskrift for boligforskning (Nordic Journal of Housing Research) was established in 2018 and will publish its first issue in November. It is an interdisciplinary scientific journal covering all aspects of housing in Norway, particularly markets, politics, social conditions, residential environment and neighborhoods. The content will primarily consist of scientific, peer-reviewed articles, but also comments, debate articles, interviews, book reviews and dissemination articles. The journal is aimed at researchers, governmental bodies, political authorities and business, and will have a presentation that makes it available also to a wider audience. The journal aims at publishing and disseminating the foremost research in the field of study. The journal publishes articles mainly in Norwegian, but also considers articles in English, Swedish and Danish. Tidsskrift for boligforskning is published by Scandinavian University Press on behalf of the Center for Welfare and Labor Research (SVA) at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University. Peer review All research articles that are considered relevant for publication in the journal are reviewed by at least two anonymous academic referees with no ties to the author. In addition, the article is reviewed by the journal's editorial board before the final decision regarding publication of the article is made by the editor-in-chief. The journal practices "double blind" peer review, whereby both reviewers and the author remain anonymous to each other. The journal does not ask for any fees for assessment or publication. Indexing The journal will be covered by the following indexing and discovery services: Google Scholar Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) Primo Central Index (Ex Libris) / Oria The Summon Service (ProQuest) Ebsco Discovery Service WorldCat Local (OCLC) SHERPA/RoMEO All content in this journal is also exported to Portico , a preservation archive that safeguards perpetual access to e-journals, e-books, and digital collections. The journal is authorized as a publication channel on level 1 in NSD – Norwegian Centre for Research Data (for Norway and Sweden) and in the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science’s Authorization list for serials (Denmark).
