Technology Analysis & Strategic Management (TASM) is a highly interdisciplinary, international research journal that links the analysis of science, technology, and innovation to the strategic needs of policymakers and managers. The journal focuses on the processes of innovation and technology development, the associated potentials and implications, and the development of appropriate methodologies for the effective conduct of such studies. The scope of the Journal extends from issues at the corporate and organizational level, through state, national and international capabilities, to technology-related global politics. The journal also promotes strategic thinking about how science and technology may be exploited industrially. Submissions should explicitly integrate the processes of innovation or technology development. We do not accept submissions that focus primarily on the following topics (such papers may be more appropriate for other specialist journals): 1) Disciplinary frameworks (e.g., pure marketing, general strategy, production/ operations management, software/computer techniques.) 2) Substantive themes (e.g., supply chain resilience, carbon management, ESG, entrepreneurship, general digitalisation.) 3) Specific sectoral contexts (e.g., education, banking and finance, construction.) 4) Downstream effects of specific technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain, algorithms) without addressing the underlying innovation dynamics. Peer Review Policy All research articles published in this journal have been through a rigorous process, involving initial editor screening and further reviewing by two anonymous referees.
