SJHR-Africa aims to strengthen scientific research, scholarly communication, and evidence-based practice by publishing high-quality research that addresses contemporary health challenges affecting Africa and the global community. The journal seeks to bridge knowledge gaps through interdisciplinary research that informs policy, clinical practice, education, and public health interventions. Recognizing that health is influenced by multiple disciplines, SJHR-Africa publishes research across a broad spectrum of fields that contribute directly or indirectly to health and human well-being. The journal welcomes submissions in, but is not limited to: Clinical Medicine and Surgery Nursing and Midwifery Public Health and Epidemiology Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Medical Laboratory Sciences Dentistry and Oral Health Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Mental Health and Psychology Nutrition and Dietetics Rehabilitation Sciences Biomedical Sciences Health Systems and Health Policy Global Health Environmental Health Digital Health and Health Informatics Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Agriculture and One Health Environmental and Climate Health Occupational Health Health Economics and Management Health Education and Promotion Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Health Technologies Veterinary and Comparative Health Sciences Other multidisciplinary fields that influence human health and healthcare delivery. By encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, SJHR-Africa provides a platform where researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, policymakers, students, and development partners can exchange knowledge that advances scientific discovery, strengthens health systems, and improves population health.
