Structural Engineering International (SEI) publishes technical reports and scientific papers in the field of structural engineering, aiming to bridge the gap between professional practice and academic research. The journal covers both practical and scientific aspects of the discipline. SEI features articles on recent structures and developments in both practice and research. Contributions address all types of structures, including bridges, buildings, and offshore structures, constructed from a wide range of materials such as concrete, steel, composites, timber, fibre-reinforced polymers, and glass. In addition, SEI covers issues related to the sustainability of structures and the full spectrum of structural engineering practice, from design and construction to maintenance, monitoring, and ultimately reuse or demolition. All technical articles are reviewed by the IABSE SEI Editorial Board, in collaboration with more than 250 reviewers and more than 20 Correspondents. To recognise outstanding contributions, an Outstanding Paper Award is presented annually.
