SPOOL is a journal initiative in the field of architecture and the built environment. It places strong emphasis on four key topics: Science of Architecture, Landscape Metropolis, Energy Innovation, and Cyber-physical Architecture. These four topics reflect existing and emerging research programs and interests in Europe and beyond, ensuring a steady stream of potential contributions. Within this framework, SPOOL welcomes original papers and associated open data on research addressing interventions in architecture and the built environment through design, engineering, and/or planning.
