研究范围与定位
Sleep Epidemiology is dedicated to advancing population-based research in sleep medicine and circadian science. The journal publishes original research, reviews, mega-analyses, and methodological papers examining the distribution, determinants, outcomes, and public health impact of sleep and sleep disorders across populations and the lifespan. Sleep Epidemiology welcomes all epidemiological study designs, including cohort, case control, cross-sectional, longitudinal, ecological, registry-based, and real-world evidence studies, as well as implementation and health-services research. Areas of interest included but are not limited to:• Insomnia, hypersomnolence, circadian rhythm disorders, parasomnias, sleep-related breathing disorders, and movement disorders • Sleep health disparities, social and environmental determinants of sleep, and global sleep health • Sleep and cardiometabolic, neurodegenerative, psychiatric, and cognitive outcomes • Digital epidemiology, wearable-derived data, AI-assisted phenotyping, and advanced epidemiological methods • Population impact of sleep treatments, prevention strategies, implementation science, and public health policySleep Epidemiology operates a continuous publication model, publishing articles online as soon as they are ready and compiling them into a single annual volume.
