Family Medicine (Medicina de Familia - SEMERGEN) is the official scientific publication of the Spanish Society of Primary Care Physicians (Sociedad Española de Médicos de Atención Primaria) and has as its main aim to promote research and professional skills of Primary Care Physicians in order to improve the health and care of the population. Medicina de Familia - SEMERGEN seeks to identify questions on high quality Primary Healthcare focused on the patient and/or the community. The journal publishes original research, methodologies, and theories, as well as selected systematic reviews that are based on current knowledge in order to put forward new theories, methods, or lines of research. Medicina de Familia - SEMERGEN is a peer-reviewed journal that has adopted clear and rigorous ethical norms in its publication policy following the rules of the Publications Ethics Committee, and which seeks to identify questions on high-quality Primary Healthcare focused on the patient and on the community. The journal accepts articles in Spanish and English. The journal is indexed in MedLine/PubMed and SCOPUSMedicina de Familia - SEMERGEN es el vehículo de comunicación de la Sociedad Española de Médicos de Atención Primaria (SEMERGEN) en su misión de promover la investigación y la competencia profesional de los médicos de atención primaria para mejorar la salud y la asistencia a la población. Medicina de Familia - SEMERGEN busca identificar preguntas sobre la atención primaria de salud y la provisión de atención de alta calidad centrada en el paciente y/o la comunidad. Publicamos investigaciones, metodologías y teorías originales, así como revisiones sistemáticas seleccionadas que se basan en el conocimiento actual para avanzar en nuevas teorías, métodos o líneas de investigación. Medicina de Familia - SEMERGEN es una revista de revisión por pares que ha adoptado pautas éticas claras y rigurosas en su política de publicaciones siguiendo las pautas del Comité de Ética de Publicaciones y que busca identificar y dar respuesta a preguntas sobre la atención primaria de salud y la provisión de atención de alta calidad centrada en el paciente y en la comunidad. La revista acepta articulos en Español y en Inglés. La revista está incluida en MedLine/PubMed y SCOPUS.
