EGE Revista de Expresión Gráfica en la Edificación is a scientific journal specialized in the fields of Architectural Graphic Expression and Graphic Engineering, focused on advanced research in graphic representation applied to architecture, building, and the built heritage. Its main objective is to disseminate advanced research in graphic representation, promoting the adoption of reproducible methodologies and technologies and ensuring the dissemination and visibility of scientific results. The journal serves as an international forum that combines scientific rigor, technological innovation, and practical application, consolidating itself as a reference in the field of graphic representation applied to building. The thematic areas covered by the journal include: Graphic research in architecture and building: theoretical analysis of graphic representation and its technological innovation, applied projects, and advanced studies. Architectural Graphic Expression: drawing, representation, applied geometry, digital surveying, and architectural visualization. Applied methodological research: digital surveying, photogrammetry, 3D laser scanning, digital twins, BIM modelling, and GIS applications. Heritage and museum documentation: history and graphic analysis of built heritage; strategies for recording, documentation, and dissemination; digitization of museum collections; digital mediation. Applied digital technologies: augmented, virtual, and extended reality; generative artificial intelligence applied to architectural graphic representation; and other advanced digital tools for H-BIM and H-GIS surveying.
