Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics is an international journal dedicated to advancing high-impact research at the interface of psychological processes, somatic conditions, and their clinical treatment. The journal publishes rigorous, theory-driven and empirically grounded research that advances understanding of mind–body interactions and demonstrates clear clinical and conceptual relevance for psychotherapeutic and psychosomatic care across diverse patient populations. The journal particularly welcomes contributions that elucidate psychological, biological, and social mechanisms underlying mental and somatic disorders, with a focus on how these processes shape diagnosis, prognosis, and differential treatment response. Priority is given to work that bridges disciplinary boundaries, integrates multimodal methodologies, and translates mechanistic insights into clinically meaningful and practice-relevant implications for assessment, intervention, and patient outcomes.
