The main scope of the journal is to publish original research articles in the area of mechanical engineering with special focus on materials science including nanotechnology and biomaterials, energy technology including renewable energy, machine and product design, manufacturing science and technology including cyber-physical systems, mechatronics, optics, robotics, process engineering, fluids engineering, hydrodynamic systems, building service engineering, computational mechanics, and biomechanics.
