Pamomong: Journal of Islamic Educational Counseling is a scientific journal, peer-reviewed and open-access academic journal. The journal is published biannually, June and December by State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga in collaboration with Asosiasi Bimbingan dan Konseling Indonesia (ABKIN). The journal is managed by Islamic Educational Counseling and Guidance Study Programme. The journal serves as a forum for sustained scholarly discussion of issues relevant to its focus and scope, particularly Islamic educational guidance and counseling in local culture-based schools in Southeast Asia. It also welcomes articles on school counseling, gender-sensitive counseling, counseling assessment, multicultural counseling, disability counseling services, counseling evaluation and supervision, guidance and counseling management, and media and technology in guidance and counseling. It is registered with Crossref under Prefix 10.18326 and carries the Online ISSN 2808-8565, Print ISSN 2774-583X. The journal has been accredited Sinta Rank 2 since 24 July 2026.
