Translation Studies: Ansaq in Arts and Humanities aims to create a knowledge space dedicated to translation, both in theory and practice. It provides researchers and interested scholars with a research platform to study translation theories in their philosophical, linguistic, and literary dimensions. This space also seeks to explore knowledge integrations between translation studies and other fields of knowledge, transcending the traditional boundaries of translation, and embracing historical, social, cultural, philosophical, and religious aspects of the translation act. Philosophical Research: The journal welcomes philosophical research that reconsiders traditional questions in epistemology, logic, ethics, philosophy of language, and mind through new approaches that challenge prevailing paradigms in philosophical thought. Media Studies: Ansaq encourages studies that examine the multifaceted relationship between media, communication, society, and culture, including communication theories, media content analysis, discourse analysis, and the effects of communication media on society. Identity and Cultural Studies: Ansaq attracts research work related to social identities and interpretative models that facilitate better understanding of the factors controlling identity formation and representation. The journal also encourages comparative cultural studies and the examination of cultural expression forms and interactions across various cultural or societal contexts.
