Norsk litteraturvitenskapelig tidsskrift (established 1998) publishes articles on literary analyses and literary theory and also book reviews and debate contributions within general literary science. Contributions from Scandinavian-language researchers in other countries are also accepted. The journal wishes to make conditions favourable for communication and discussion among literary researchers and addresses itself to researchers within the language fields, philosophy and other aesthetic disciplines. Norsk litteraturvitenskapelig tidsskrift is aimed at literary researchers, language researchers, students and the general public interested in literature. The journal is published by Scandinavian University Press, and with the support of Nasjonalt tidsskriftkonsortium for humaniora og samfunnsvitenskap. From 2017, the journal is published with open access. Peer review All research articles that are considered relevant for publication in the journal are reviewed by at least two anonymous academic referees with no ties to the author. In addition, the article is reviewed by the journal's editorial board and the final decision regarding publication of the article is made by the Editor-in-Chief. The journal practices "double blind" peer review, whereby both reviewers and the author remain anonymous to each other. All content in this journal is also exported to Portico, a preservation archive that safeguards perpetual access to e-journals, e-books, and digital collections.
