Medya ve Din Araştırmaları Dergisi (MEDİAD)-Journal of Media and Religion Studies, established in June 2018, is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access scholarly journal published biannually in June and December.The journal aims to deepen the scientific knowledge base in the intersecting fields of media and religion by promoting original research. It specifically adopts a comprehensive approach that includes perspectives focusing on Islam and media relations, as well as interactions between media and various religions on local, regional, and global scales.In this context, MEDİAD contributes to a profound understanding of the dynamic interactions between media and religion, with their regional roots and global impacts, and facilitates the sharing of academic knowledge and experiences in the field. The journal provides an international platform for studies from diverse cultural and geographical contexts, thereby encouraging the exchange of information among scholars, researchers, and students worldwide. MEDİAD features original research articles, technical notes, and book reviews that utilize relevant literature and scientific methods from related disciplines such as Social Theory, Religious Studies, Communication Studies, Media Studies, Psychology, Law, Philosophy, and Literature. The editorial board and peer review panel consist of internationally recognized experts, and the journal’s publication processes adhere to universal academic standards.The primary audience of the journal includes academics, researchers, and students interested in the interplay between media and religion within their respective disciplines.
