Mathematics in Computer Science (MCS) publishes original research articles on mathematically rigorous theories and methods in computer and information science. This includes the design, implementation, and analysis of algorithms and software tools for computation and reasoning, ranging from classical first-order logic to contemporary artificial intelligence and machine learning. Furthermore, the journal promotes the integration of mathematics and computer science for applications in science and engineering. Review articles are published by invitation.
