The Journal of Oriental Studies has been published since 1992. It was established in 1992 and is published by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The journal features scholarly contributions that explore key issues in the history, politics, and social development of the countries and societies of the East. It places particular emphasis on the religious and cultural dimensions of Eastern societies, as well as on processes of their historical evolution and social and cultural transformation. The editorial team upholds rigorous peer-review procedures, high editorial standards, and an open-access publishing policy to ensure the credibility, transparency, and academic integrity of all published work.
