Jurnal Ilmu Sosial (JIS, p-ISSN 1411-8254, e-ISSN 2548-4893 ) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that provides an academic platform for the publication of scientific articles in the fields of social and political sciences. The journal aims to advance theoretical, empirical, and methodological discussions on contemporary social, administrative, political, and communication-related issues at local, national, regional, and global levels. JIS publishes original research articles, review articles, and conceptual papers that contribute to the development of knowledge in social and political sciences. The journal particularly welcomes manuscripts that offer strong theoretical foundations, rigorous methodological approaches, critical analysis, and relevant contributions to academic debates and/or policy practices. The scope of Jurnal Ilmu Sosial includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: Public Administration: Studies on public policy, governance, public service, bureaucracy, administrative reform, public sector innovation, and institutional development.Business Administration: Studies on business organizations, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, marketing, human resource management, organizational behavior, and business strategy.Communication Science: Studies on media, journalism, digital communication, public relations, political communication, health communication, environmental communication, strategic communication, and communication for social change.Governmental Science: Studies on political institutions, local government, decentralization, democracy, electoral politics, public leadership, citizenship, and state-society relations.Sociology: Studies on social change, social movements, culture, identity, inequality, community development, social conflict, gender, and contemporary social issues.International Relations: Studies on diplomacy, foreign policy, international political economy, global governance, international security, regionalism, transnational issues, and international cooperation.
