Journal of Sustainable Forestry publishes peer-reviewed, original research on forest science. Forest Economics & Innovation: Focus on the economic aspects of forestry, including the utilization of forest products, development of bioenergy solutions, and fostering a thriving bioeconomy. Explore how ecosystem services contribute to sustainable development and the role of forests in global economic systems. Data-Driven Forests: Leverage advanced tools like simulation modelling, forest inventory techniques, quantitative methods, and remote sensing technologies to gain deeper insights into forest ecosystems. These approaches enable precise monitoring, planning, and decision-making for forest management. Forests & Climate Action: Investigate the impacts of climate change on forests, including the increasing prevalence of forest fires. Explore strategies for adaptation and mitigation, ensuring forests remain resilient and continue to play a critical role in combating global climate challenges. People & Forests: Highlight the human connection to forests through recreation, environmental education, and understanding the social dimensions of forestry. This section emphasizes the importance of engaging communities and fostering a deeper appreciation for forest ecosystems.
