Journal of Physics: Theories and Applications publishes original and scientifically rigorous research that makes a meaningful contribution to physics and advances understanding within specific areas of the discipline. The journal focuses on theoretical and applied physics, with particular emphasis on theoretical and mathematical approaches, as well as physics-based applications addressing contemporary scientific and technological problems. Particular areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, including analytical methods, mathematical modeling, and theoretical investigations of physical systems;Quantum, Atomic, Nuclear, and Particle Physics, including theoretical, computational, and experimental investigations;Astrophysics and Gravitation, including theoretical modeling, mathematical analysis, and relevant observational or computational studies;Condensed Matter and Materials Physics, including theoretical and experimental investigations of semiconductors, photonic materials, magnetic and ferroelectric materials, nanoparticles, and functional materials;Sustainable and Natural-Resource-Based Materials and Applications, including physics-based investigations of materials, functional systems, and technologies derived from or utilizing natural, renewable, or sustainable resources;Applied Physics, including radiation and medical physics, energy-related physics, instrumentation, and physics-based technological applications; and Interdisciplinary Physics, including research at the intersection of physics with engineering and technology, materials science, energy, environmental and Earth sciences, biomedical and health sciences, and other disciplines where physical theories, models, experimental methods, or quantitative approaches constitute a substantive component of the research. The journal welcomes analytical, numerical, computational, theoretical, and experimental approaches, provided that the research demonstrates a clear connection to physics and makes a substantive scientific contribution. Interdisciplinary studies are considered when physics provides a meaningful theoretical, methodological, experimental, or analytical foundation for the research. The journal prioritizes manuscripts that demonstrate clear scientific contribution, methodological rigor, and meaningful advancement of knowledge within their relevant area of physics.
