Devoted to the publication of significant fundamental advances in the physics of macromolecular solids and liquids, both synthetic and natural, this international journal presents original, high-quality research across the full breadth of polymer physics. It encompasses all areas traditionally associated with polymer solid-state and liquid physics, while also embracing the rapidly evolving, interdisciplinary nature of the field. Modern polymer physics extends well beyond its classical foundations, intersecting with disciplines such as materials science, soft condensed matter physics, chemistry, biology, nanotechnology, and engineering. The journal reflects this expansion by welcoming contributions that advance physical understanding through theory, simulation, and experiment. Published papers include detailed experimental, theoretical, and computational studies on topics such as, but not limited to: Structure–property relationships in polymer solids and melts Morphology and structure development in polymers Polymer self-assembly and supramolecular polymers Molecular dynamics, relaxation, and rheological behavior Phase behavior, crystallization, and glass transition phenomena Polymer interfaces, surfaces, thin films, and confined systems Mechanical, thermal, dielectric, and transport properties Optical and electro-optical properties of polymeric materials Biopolymers, soft matter, and polymer-based hybrid or nanostructured materials Nonequilibrium phenomena and processing–structure relationships Spectroscopic characterization and molecular-level analysis Adhesives, coatings, and interfacial phenomena Surfaces, thin films, confined polymers, and transport properties Through rigorous analysis and clear physical insight, the journal aims to advance fundamental understanding and foster cross-disciplinary dialogue within the global polymer physics community.
