Journal of Local Government Issues (LOGOS) is an international, peer-reviewed journal of the Department of Government Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. The journal aims to promote scholarly discussion and debate on contemporary issues in government and governance, with particular emphasis on local government, local politics, public policy, public services, elections, electoral politics, political parties, e-government, government leadership, and urban politics. LOGOS provides a platform for theoretical, empirical, comparative, and interdisciplinary research, particularly addressing developing, emerging, and developed contexts. LOGOS welcomes original research contributions from scholars worldwide in the humanities and social sciences. The journal particularly encourages comparative and cross-national studies that contribute to broader international debates on government and governance. The journal welcomes research on, but is not limited to: Local governance and government institutions Local politics and political institutions Elections, electoral politics, and political parties Local democracy and political participation Decentralization and intergovernmental relations Public policy and public services Digital governance and e-government Government leadership and institutional transformation Urban and rural governance Environmental and climate governance State–society relations Comparative and cross-national governance
