Journal of Insect Biodiversity and Systematics is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality, original, and scientifically rigorous research on the diversity, taxonomy, systematics, and evolution of insects and other arthropods, encompassing both extant and fossil taxa. The journal gives priority to high-quality manuscripts that make significant and lasting contributions to the systematics and biodiversity of insects and other terrestrial arthropods. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, taxonomic revisions, descriptions of new taxa, monographs, catalogues, applications of biology and anatomy in taxonomy, biodiversity, historical biogeography, phylogeny, evolution, palaeontology, theoretical methodology in systematics, biogeographical distributional patterns, as well as regional checklists.
