Journal of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Research (JCVTR) is the international, peer-reviewed journal of the Iranian Heart Association that publishes basic and clinical studies dealing with the cardiovascular realm. JCVTR is published online, four times per year, under the platinum open access model by the Tabriz University of Medical Science. The journal aims to enhance the knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular diseases and present novel perspectives for innovation. The journal welcomes the submission of papers that makes a substantial contribution to the various fields of cardiovascular medicine, including adult and pediatric cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic anesthesiology, and public health and preventive cardiology.
