Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics (JBSD) is pleased to announce a revision of its aims and scope for July 2024. These revisions should allow us to serve our community better and to enhance the impact of the research we publish. The primary aim of the Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics is to publish high-quality experimental, computational, and theoretical biophysical studies that illuminate fundamental aspects of biomolecular structure, dynamics, and function. The scope of the Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics encompasses studies of biomolecular structure and dynamics that cover biophysics, structural biology, computational modeling of biomolecular structure and dynamics, and bioinformatic approaches to understanding dynamics-function and structure-function relationships in biomolecules. Articles that report on the development of new theoretical, experimental, or computational methods to study biomolecular structure and dynamics are welcome. We welcome drug discovery, medicinal chemistry, and synthetic chemistry manuscripts, but they must include experimental studies to support their work and the manuscripts must provide significant insights into biomolecular structure, dynamics or function.Please note this recent Editorial detailing article requirements and editorial team interests, which we would strongly encourage all submitting authors to read: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/07391102.2024.2382086 N.B.
