The Journal of Applied Engineering Science (JAES) is an international journal dedicated to the improvement and dissemination of the results of research and the application of methods, techniques, and technologies within mechanical engineering, transportation, and civil engineering. Particularly interesting sub-areas for the Journal of Applied Engineering Science are: Mechanical engineering – Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Materials science, Robotics and control systems, Manufacturing and production, Design and analysis, Fluid mechanics, Maintenance; Civil engineering – Construction materials, Structural engineering, Transportation infrastructure engineering, Construction engineering and management; Transportation – Transportation planning, Traffic engineering, Intelligent transportation systems (ITS), Transportation infrastructure, Public transportation, Logistics; These sub-areas represent a guideline, but do not limit authors from submitting manuscripts in other specialized areas within the defined scope JAES follows new trends and proven practices in the listed fields, thus creating a unique forum for interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary dialogues.
