The International Journal of Mathematical Modelling & Computations (IJM²C), founded in 2011 and published quarterly by Islamic Azad University in collaboration with OICC Press, offers a venue for researchers who work at the intersection of mathematics, computation, and applied sciences. The journal’s central aim is to publish work that advances both the theoretical foundations and the practical uses of mathematical modelling and computational methods. IJM²C encourages contributions that shed new light on complex scientific or engineering problems through rigorous analysis, innovative modelling approaches, or computational techniques. Research that combines classical mathematical ideas with contemporary computational or data-driven strategies is particularly welcomed. Scope — Topics and Areas Covered Mathematical Modelling and Simulation: Development and analysis of models for physical, biological, environmental, engineering, social, or economic systems; multiscale and multiphysics modelling; and modern modelling frameworks that integrate empirical data or hierarchical structures. Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computation: Numerical methods for differential, integral, stochastic, and functional equations; finite-element, finite-volume, spectral, mesh-free, and adaptive schemes; stability and convergence studies; and computational techniques for stochastic processes and uncertainty quantification. Optimization, Variational Methods, and Control: Linear and nonlinear optimization, stochastic and combinatorial optimization, calculus of variations, optimal control, shape design, and control of deterministic or stochastic systems. Discrete Mathematics and Algorithmic Methods: Graph-theoretic and combinatorial approaches, discrete and computational mathematics, operations research, network analysis, scheduling, and algorithm design for complex discrete systems. Computational Intelligence and Data-Driven Methods: Machine learning techniques applied to modelling and computation, hybrid approaches blending data with governing equations, operator-learning frameworks, statistical modelling, and methods for uncertainty analysis and data assimilation. Computational Applications in Science and Engineering: Numerical methods in fluid mechanics, structural and solid mechanics, materials modelling, geosciences, chemistry, biology, environmental sciences, and interdisciplinary areas where computation and modelling play a central role.
