The International Journal of Law and Information Technology provides cutting-edge and in-depth analysis of the law relating to Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology and Cyberspace. The Journal covers legal developments concerning Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Cybercrime, Cybersecurity, Encryption, Intellectual Property in the Digital Environment, Internet Governance, Internet Jurisdiction, Internet of Things, Online Content Regulation, Open Data, Privacy & Data Protection in the Digital Environment, Robotics, Smart Contracts, Surveillance Technologies, Social Media and Telecommunications. The legal angle can relate to procedural or substantive law, regulation and compliance, human rights impacts and governance (including self-regulation and standards). This includes legal practice or the justice systems applying technologies such as artificial intelligence or online dispute resolution. The Journal can also focus on the legal analysis of technology, rather than technology as such. The International Journal of Law and Information Technology covers national, international and comparative law. The outlook of the Journal is international and articles should be of interest to an international audience; articles compare laws or draw implications of law and regulatory models which are of interest to more than one country. This Journal has become essential reading for legal and computing professionals and legal scholars of IT law.
