The Journal's subject area is determined by the fact that informatics is a complex discipline based on the achievements of other scientific fields including mathematics, physics, linguistics etc. At the same time the Journal gives significant consideration to modern information technologies resulting from advances of informatics as a fundamental science. The Journal invites authors to submit articles on theoretical problems of informatics and practical results of its real life implementation. The main subject areas of scientific publications in the Journal are: Theoretical fundamentals of informatics; Mathematical methods for studying complex systems and processes; Information technologies; Architecture and software of computational complexes and networks.
