Published by Sage from 2024. Journal for the Study of Education and Development (JSED) is an international, fully peer-reviewed academic journal centered on the psychology of human development, learning, and education throughout the life span. Founded in 1978 as Infancia y Aprendizaje, JSED is a comprehensive journal aimed to disseminate knowledge that transcends disciplinary and age-related boundaries. The journal publishes high-quality scholarly work focusing on three thematic areas: 1. Development across the life span 2. Learning and instructional processes 3. Applied educational research: from early childhood to adult education JSED publishes empirical, review, methods, and conceptual articles (7,000 words maximum). All contents are published in both English and Spanish. Authors may submit their work in either one of the two languages. Upon acceptance, articles are translated into the other language by translators appointed by the journal (free of charge for the authors). The journal enjoys a wide readership that includes researchers in the fields of developmental and educational psychology, education professionals (teacher educators, school leaders, counselors), intervention professionals (child and educational psychologists, social workers, speech-language pathologists), as well as policymakers and other practitioners in the intersecting fields of development, learning, and education. Línea y Público Journal for the Study of Education and Development (JSED) es una revista académica internacional y evaluada por pares que aborda la psicología del desarrollo humano, el aprendizaje, y la educación a lo largo de todo el ciclo vital. Fundada en 1978 como Infancia y Aprendizaje, JSED es una revista integradora que persigue difundir conocimientos que trasciendan las barreras disciplinares y las etapas evolutivas. La revista publica trabajos académicos de alta calidad centrados en tres áreas temáticas: 1. Desarrollo a lo largo del ciclo vital 2. Procesos de aprendizaje e instrucción 3. Investigación educativa aplicada: desde la infancia temprana a la educación para adultos JSED publica artículos empíricos, de revisión, métodos, y conceptuales (máximo de 7000 palabras). Todos los contenidos se publican tanto en inglés como en español. Los autores pueden enviar sus trabajos en cualquiera de estos dos idiomas.
