The IAFOR Journal of Psychology & the Behavioral Sciences is an Open Access, peer-reviewed, international and intercultural journal. All papers published in the journal have been subjected to the rigorous and accepted processes of academic peer review. The journal encourages interdisciplinary research, with the primary focus being on psychology and behavioral sciences. Work that cuts across a variety of disciplines and fields related to psychology and the behavioral sciences is encouraged. Original, previously unpublished papers which are not under consideration for publication in any other journal are welcomed. Please note that papers already submitted to or published in IAFOR Conference Proceedings are not accepted for publication in any of IAFOR’s journals. All submitted articles must meet the submission guidelines. All papers are reviewed equally according to standard peer review processes, regardless of whether or not the authors have attended a related IAFOR conference. The IAFOR Journal of Psychology & the Behavioral Sciences covers a variety of topics: General Psychology Psychology and Education Mental Health Issues Human Development Psychological Outreach Services & Community Development Family Studies & Professional Practice At-Risk Children, Youth & Families and Vulnerable Populations
