Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics is an open access peer-reviewed journal publishing international research into human vaccinology and immunotherapy, including novel and experimental vaccine and immunotherapeutics exploration. The journal's audience includes clinicians, researchers, medical professionals, epidemiologists, public health workers, biotech and pharmaceutical companies, and drug regulators interested in vaccinology and immunotherapy. Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics is affiliated with the International Society for Vaccines (ISV) and the Association for Cancer Immunotherapy (CIMT). The aim of Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics is to provide a platform to present and discuss developments in human vaccinology and immunotherapy. The journal covers the following topics: Research and development and new technologies for novel vaccines and immunotherapeutics Vaccines and immunotherapeutics for treating both infectious and non-infectious diseases, e.g. cancer Preclinical studies and assays Clinical trials for vaccines and immunotherapeutics Disease processes and mechanisms, including biomarkers Licensed products and their use in the field Knowledge, attitude, practices, acceptance and hesitation for vaccination and immunotherapy Interventions and policy Impact of licensed vaccines and immunotherapeutics on disease and health economics Safety and surveillance of licensed vaccines and immunotherapeutics Prevention and treatment in the developing world Epidemiology and pharmaco-economics Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics accepts Research Articles, Review Articles (including State of the Art Reviews), Methods, Product Reviews, Case Reports, Rapid Communications, Data Notes, Article Commentaries, Meeting Reports, Plain Language Summaries of Publication and Editorials (Editors and Guest Advisors only) for publication. The journal operates a single-anonymized peer review policy. Note that bibliometric studies will only occasionally be considered and must provide a deep, rigorous analysis of current and future topics in order to bring value to the field. Bibliometric studies must be validated using the authors' own data through replication in an original sample. Pharmacological and bioinformatics studies based solely on in silico analyses without experimental validation are not considered. The Journal does not accept Traditional Chinese Medicine studies.
